This profoundly powerful and spirited group features South African artist Jimmy Mulovhedzi together with Canadian singer/songwriter Holly Wright supported by an ensemble of 18 dynamic singers, drummers and dancers from Soweto, South Africa. This unique fusion of African and Western music combined with the energy of the traditional African rhythms and dance, had audiences dancing in the aisles, weeping with emotion and on their feet in thunderous applause in praise of this show on their 2008 tour.
Members of this group have performed for or shared the stage with: Nelson Mandela; Oprah Winfrey; Quincy Jones; Ladysmith Black Mambazo, the Soweto Gospel Choir and kd lang. They were selected as the entertainers for the FIFA Confederations Cup Draw in Johannesburg South Africa in November of 2008 and are now bringing their incredible talent to Canada.
